About the single "Love Like This", from Paul...
"Jeff Lorber, Everette Harp and I were playing at the Atlantic City Jazz Festival about a year ago. During sound check (where we make sure all of the instruments are working), I started playing the guitar part of “Love Like This” by Faith Evans. Jeff stopped what he was doing and said “hey Paul, you need to record that song. Everybody likes it”. He didn’t have to tell me twice. And, since it was his idea, I wanted to feature him on my version. Also featured is my daughter Lindsey Jackson on vocals."

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Paul Jackson Jr. has been featured on recordings with top superstars such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Elton John, Luther Vandross, Barbra Streisand, and childhood friend Patrice Rushen. He’s also recorded with some of today’s biggest stars including The Weeknd, Zendaya, and Daft Punk.
Paul has scored music for many successful television shows and movies and has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, American Idol, The Academy Awards, The Emmys, The Kennedy Center Honors and on multiple GRAMMY appearances with Steve Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Ne-Yo, Lionel Richie, Carrie Underwood, and Chance The Rapper. Paul has also performed on the soundtracks for major motion pictures such as “La La Land”, “Get On Up”, “Zootopia”, and “The Color Purple”.
He has received multiple GRAMMY award recognitions:

Several of Paul’s radio singles have appeared on Billboard contemporary jazz charts. Jackson’s last album “Stories From Stompin’ Willie” includes two singles which went number 1 on the charts; “Down The Road” and B.F.A.M. (Brothers From Another Mother).
Paul is Assistant Professor Of Practice, Artist In Residence,
USC Thornton School Of Music, Popular Music Division.
